About Us
A cairn is a stack of stones left by someone who came before you, marking the way. Ours is a bottle.
The idea
You go somewhere worth going — a canyon rim at sunrise, a state line you'd never crossed, a trail you'd been putting off for years. You take a photo. Six months later the photo is buried three thousand frames down your camera roll and the memory has gone soft at the edges.
A CAIRN bottle fixes that. Every park, every state, every continent gets a sticker. You peel one off and press it on when you've actually been. The bottle fills up the way a passport does — slowly, unevenly, and entirely on your own terms.
Nobody can put a sticker on it for you. That's the whole point.
The bottle
532 ml (18 oz), 23 cm tall and 7.4 cm across. Double-wall vacuum-insulated stainless steel: cold for 24 hours, hot for 12.
We sized it deliberately. At 7.4 cm it drops into a car cup holder — most consoles are built for 7.5 to 9 cm — and still fits a backpack side pocket. A bigger bottle holds more water and comes on fewer trips. This one comes on all of them.
The stickers are weatherproof vinyl. They survive the dishwasher, the trunk of a hot car, and a week of being knocked around a daypack.
Three ways to fill it
- 24 National Parks — the headliners, from Acadia to Zion.
- 50 States — the full map, one sticker at a time.
- World Explorer — countries and continents, for the ones who don't stop at the border.
How we work
We're a small operation. We ship worldwide, we answer our own email, and we read every review that comes in — including the ones that tell us something is wrong. If your bottle arrives damaged or something isn't right, write to info@cairn.now and a person will reply, usually within a business day.
